“This Box Which Is Not One comes from a series of large-scale suspended sculptures called The Fantasies that are broadly concerned with rendering tangible experiences of desire, seduction and pathos. This Box… demarcates physical and psychic space through a simple sculptural proposition- a rectangle of tulle suspended between a wall and floor, with a piece of fabric stitched to its underside in a smaller rectangle.
